Abstract

This study aims to determine the value added value obtained by farmers from copra processing. This research has been conducted in Waepandan Village, Madan District Head of South Buru Regency in March until May 2017. The determination of this research location is based on the consideration that Waepandan Village is coconut production center area. Respondents in this research as many as 30 respondents who do copra processing. Determination of respondents conducted by Random Sampling Method. The data analysis used is value-added analysis (Hayami Method). The results showed that the processing of copra provides added value of Rp. 2,149.4/kg ratio of value added to product value  of  41.74%

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the process of sago starch processing at Sago Meohai Group business, second what are the facilities used in sago starch processing and the third to know the financial feasibility of sago processing business in Labibia Subdistrict of Mandonga Subdistrict Kendari City (case study on the business Sago Meohai Group). The analysis used in this research is Financial Feasibility Analysis which consist of Net Present Value (NPV), Net Benefit Cost Ratio (NBCR), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Payback Period (PBP) and Sensitivity Analysis. The results of this study show that the process of sago starch processing in the Meohai Sago Group Enterprises is still simple even though the process of processing has been using a solvent, senso machine, water machine and solvent machine, but in other processes still done by humans. Facilities and Infrastructure used in the processing of sago starch such as land, solvent, water machine, senso and solvent are all in good condition, only the road to the research location is in poor condition because it is still dominated by land and weeds. Meanwhile, in terms of feasibility Business Group Sagu Meohai feasible to cultivate. Due to discount factor (df) 9.1%, obtained NPV value of Rp 98.133.361, NBCR of 9.71, IRR of 172.93%. and PBP 0,56 years or 6 months 21 days with age of 11 years whereas feasibility feasibility analysis where if condition of increase of operational cost equal to 6,57% at discount factor (df) 9.1%, obtained NPV value equal to Rp 56.068.996, NBCR 5.55, IRR of 109.9%, and PBP of 0.84 years or 10 months 2 days whereas if the selling price decreased by 6.57% at the discount factor (df) 9.1%, obtained NPV value of Rp 48.973. 432, NBCR of 4.84, IRR of 97.9% and PBP of 0.93 years or 11 months 4 days. In such circumstances Sago Meohai Group Business is still feasible to cultivate

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) analyzing the role of each Cassesart cassava business Partnershipinstitution between the cooperative and PT  CAM, and 2) to analyzing the benefits of Cassesart's cassava business partnership for farmers, cooperatives and PT CAM. The population in this research is all Cassesart cassava farmers in Wunduwatu Village, Andoolo District, South Konawe Regency as many as 65 farmers. The number of samples in this study was determined by using slovin formula with error rate of 10%, so that the sample obtained as many as 39 respondents. Selection of respondents is determined based on simple random sampling method (simple random). The results of this research show that cooperative partnership with PT Cipta Agung Manis provide an important role such as procurement of seeds, herbicide and fertilizer for partnership actors and provide benefits for farmers as members of cooperative in technical field such as obtaining guidance in cassava cultivation and increased cassava production. Economis benefits such as marketing of farmers’ products, the company’s supply of raw material is guaranteed and increasing the income of farmers and for the company can benefit. Social benefits are mutuallybeneficial and create sustainable partnerships

Abstract

This research aims were to determine income of aren tappers in the research location. This research was conducted on September 2016 until May 2017 in Wali Village of Watopute Sub District and Wansugi Village of Kabangka Sub District at Muna District.Determination of the location in this study was conducted purposively of deliberately with the consideration that the two villages are the aren sap producing are with the different utilization of aren sap. The population in this research was the whole of aren sap tappers in Wali Village of Watopute Sub District at Muna District which the total numbers of 112 people and the processor of aren sugar in Wansugi Village at Kabangka Sub District which 11 people. Sampling technique in the Wali Village was done by the Simple Random Sampling technique with the sampling as much as 25 percent that were 28 people from population number. Sampling technique in the  Wansugi Village was done by the census sampling technique so that the number of samples was equal to the number of population that was 11 people. The result of the research showed that income of kameko processor higher than aren sugar processor

Abstract

The research aims to know the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of banana chips development of UD. Sederhana and know the development strategies of banana chips UD.Sederhana.Methods of data analysis used are a descriptive analysis and SWOT analysis. The design of alternative development strategies of banana chips using the SWOT Matrix and Matrix Grand strategy.The results of this research showed that UD. Sederhana used the development strategy of Aggressive Growth Strategy.However, should be done gradually in accordance with the scale of priorities.Based on the priorities of the strategy illustrates that UD.
